Phew. It is 103 degrees right now, and I am suffering. I keep telling myself that there's only another month, then it will be practically fall but it's not helping!
Went to the doctors this morning, everything is good. Had a very undignified & rather uncomfortable cervical exam, and apparently there is no sign of labor just yet - it is closed for business right now!

Journal Entry: Monday 21st July '08
Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for bearing with me - it's getting close to Labor Day for me now, and various factors make it hard for me to update the site & write in here as much as I would like to ... I am trying though, and I really do appreciate all your kind messages!
Chris' mum & step dad brought us a really cool crib over...of course the cat's think it's some kind of jungle gym just for them, and I can hardly get the little sods out of it! Of course it would help if it was in the nursery where it was supposed to be and not in the middle of the living room. I really do need to sort that nursery out...it took all my energy to get my bag packed for the hospital!

I've been feeling so bloody tired this week it's not even funny... oh well. not long now. Mind you, nothing much will change when the baby comes - I'll still be fricking exhausted! I'm just going to have to learn to get my sleep in intervals!
We are having to get creative now, when it comes to sex and stuff. Not so easy for me to get into positions, and sucking Chris' cock is getting harder due to leg pains, carpal tunnel, and general aches and pains. I hurt my neck and shoulder doing it the other night - I feel like an old woman! I can't wait to be able to pounce on him properly again....

Woke up horny as hell this morning, but couldn't do a damn thing about it, as Chris had already gone to work. Hurumph!
4th July tomorrow... Independence Day. Independence from limeys like me, ha ha! Chris gets a much needed extra day off, which is great - the poor sod has been working his arse off in the sweltering heat. Can't be fun.
I have videos to put on the site but can't get them off the sodding video camera. Very frustrating. It's going to take a whole load of fiddling about to get that stupid non-functioning fire wire port out of the back of the 'puter and into the back of the old computer it was in...GRRRRRR!

July already, then.... how the fuck did that happen? Last time I was paying attention it was Christmas! Did I miss the longest day already? I did.

It's official - the baby has stolen all of my energy. I have none. Nothing. Nada. Even the need to get up and pee provokes a serious internal debate as to the energy saving benefits of a commode, bedpan or some kind of bag set up.
